Latchi, also written Latsi, is the small harbour settlement serving Polis Chrysochous. Fishing boats, marina berths and excursion vessels share the waterfront, where former carob warehouses recall the port’s trading past. The harbour is the focus of a visit: walk the quayside, pause at the cafés and tavernas, or follow the adjoining coastal path towards the beach. The Sea & Culture Museum, at 94 Akamantos Avenue in Latchi, presents the area’s maritime history in the restored carob-store building. Boats for the Akamas coast and its Blue Lagoon board at Latchi harbour; individual trips, check-in points and seasonal schedules vary, so confirm details with the chosen operator. The municipal beach is immediately by the harbour, while the Baths of Aphrodite lie farther west towards the Akamas Peninsula. They are a separate outing rather than a harbour attraction.
