Turtle Watching Scooter trip (Paphos)

Swim and snorkel alongside wild sea turtles in Paphos on a unique adventure along the beautiful Cyprus coastline. Your experience begins with a short safety briefing before your guides provide all the necessary snorkeling equipment. You’ll then enter the sea directly from the shore and explore the clear Mediterranean waters while searching for turtles in their natural habitat. Finding the turtles is part of the adventure. They are wild animals and move freely, so every trip is different. Along the way, you may also encounter schools of fish and other Mediterranean marine life while your guides share information about the turtles and the local underwater environment. During the snorkeling session, you’ll also have the opportunity to use our shared sea scooters, making it fun and easier to explore the area while moving through the water. Our experienced guides stay in the water with the group throughout the experience, helping you explore safely and respectfully. Floating noodles are also available for additional support when needed. The turtles naturally come close to the coastline to feed and rest, allowing you to experience them up close in their natural environment without needing a boat. The full experience lasts approximately 3–4 hours, with around 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes in the water. Free GoPro photos of your experience are also included. The activity is designed for good, confident swimmers, as we may need to swim some distance depending on where the turtles are on the day. Turtle watching trips operate from April, with the best season for turtle activity in Paphos typically from May to November.
